Day 1 :

Dehradun to Sankri

The Journey begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri, the base village for the Kedarkantha trek. The journey takes you through Mussoorie, Purola, and the beautiful Tons Valley.
Upon arrival at Sankri, you’ll be greeted by towering mountains and a pristine village setting. Spend the night in a guesthouse or camp, soaking in the beauty and preparing for the trek ahead

Day 2 :

Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

The official journey begins when you leave Sankri and climb toward Juda Ka Talab. The trail takes you through dense pine forests, where you can spot a variety of birds and hear the rustling of leaves underfoot.
The path opens up to a breathtaking clearing halfway along, where the peaceful Juda Ka Talab is awaiting.
This is your first camping; it’s a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and forests. Spend the night camping here and enjoy the night sky filled with stars.

Day 3 :

Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp

The next day, the trail gradually becomes steeper as you head toward the Kedarkantha base camp. The trek offers fantastic views of snow-covered peaks and expansive meadows.
As you reach the base camp, you’ll be surrounded by towering peaks and vast landscapes.
Then, spend the evening acclimatizing, relaxing, and preparing for the summit climb the next day.

Day 4 :

Kedarkantha Summit and Back to Sankri

The most exciting and challenging day of the trek. Start early to witness a spectacular sunrise from the Kedarkantha summit.
The summit is steep but rewarding, as you’re greeted with a panoramic view of the Himalayan range.
After spending some time at the summit, descend to Sankri, retracing your steps. Camp or stay in Sankri for the night.

Day 5 :

Sankri To Dehradun

After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to Sankri and drive back to Dehradun.
The scenic drive offers a perfect end to the trek, leaving you with beautiful memories of the Kedarkantha Trek.
