Your mountain adventure kicks off with a scenic drive through the heart of Uttarakhand. Along the way, you’ll witness magical rivers merging at Devprayag and Rudraprayag. It’s a full day on the road, but the views make every moment worth it. By evening, you’ll reach the charming hill town of Joshimath—rest, relax, and breathe in the crisp mountain air.
Once you've had a filling breakfast, head out on a scenic drive to Dhak village — the gateway to your trekking adventure. The trail starts gently, weaving through peaceful Garhwali villages and oak-lined forest paths. As the sun begins to set, you’ll arrive at Gulling Camp—your first real taste of the Himalayas under an open sky.
Today’s walk is a treat for nature lovers. You’ll trek through dense forests filled with rhododendrons and oaks, all while catching glimpses of the mighty Dronagiri peak in the distance. By afternoon, you’ll reach the serene Tali Forest Camp—perfect for unwinding and stargazing by the campfire.
Today is the pinnacle of your journey! Your walk will take you to the stunning Kuari Pass, where snow-capped peaks like Nanda Devi, Kamet, and Hathi-Ghoda stretch across the sky. The view from the top is truly breathtaking. After you've had time to take it all in, you'll head back down to Tali for a well-earned sleep.
The trail down is just as mesmerizing. You’ll walk through the wide, rolling meadows of Gorson Bugyal, then pass the famous ski slopes of Auli. By late afternoon, you’ll be back in Joshimath, with your heart full and camera roll overflowing.
