Itinerary of Kartik Swami Trek Package
Your Kartik Swami Trek starts with a comfortable morning pickup from Rishikesh, Haridwar or Dehradun.
All three pickup points are suitable and well connected. You can choose whichever is most convenient.
The drive takes you through Devprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag, following the Alaknanda River. By afternoon or evening you reach Kanakchauri village, the base of the trek.
After reaching, you will check in at the homestay or guesthouse and rest for the night.

After breakfast, your trek begins from Kanakchauri village. The trail is around 3 km one way and climbs gradually through forests and ridge pathways.
As the trail opens up, you start getting views of snow covered Himalayan peaks including Chaukhamba, Neelkanth and Kedarnath range.
After reaching the top, you visit the Kartik Swami Temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Kartikeya. From the viewpoint behind the temple, you see one of the best sunrise or sunset views in Uttarakhand.
After spending some peaceful time on the top, you trek back to Kanakchauri by afternoon or evening.
